Yeah, I've seen FeelNoFear play. He does play a decent pirate, but it's still way too gimmicky. If his gun doesn't crit he does no damage. If his ult doesn't hit, it's completely waste. If both of those things happen (a frustratingly common scenario) then he does absolutely nothing.
Why pick him when you could take someone like Master Yi or Xin Zhou who does reliable, consistent damage?
He can be fun, I won't deny that, but his gimmicks are way too much risk for the reward. If they RGN rolls in his favor, then he can do some decent damage, but the problem is that that puts him on the level of just about any other melee dps. When the RNG gods are not smiling on him, it sucks balls.
Playing as pirate when you don't get your random rolls is very, very, very frustrating.
EDIT: BTW, Belle, if you do end up playing with him, run as many crit runes as you can.
