Mostly, I think Blizzard is just upset that it's becoming an internet trolling tech to link the youtube of that and claim that it's the actual Starcraft MMO. The logic would be, I assume, that misrepresentation of the mod as the MMO "damages" the Starcraft IP.
Of course, the dude that made it never claimed it was the Starcraft MMO in the first place. The idea that he should be punished because OTHER people misrepresent what he does is ludicrous.
But Blizzard is probably going to get away with it anyway. Because as was pointed out, these single man basement programmers don't have the kind of legal weight they'd need to counter it without spending 1) an inordinate amount of money (often impossible) or 2) huge amounts of time in court.
