There's no reason to vote for anything. No majority is the same as voting for no-lynch. I think some people are just too eager to prove that they're fine with a no-lynch. Now who would want to do that... ?

True, and I get your point. I guess its just to make a statement of "no intent to move on someone", since it can be adjusted later if the situations change for now. So I guess there's no strategy lost in making a statement or not, which leaves no real reason to say anything (unless voting) outside of just looking active to avoid getting killed by the gm.
