Well, since I have been playing Pokémon since it's original Red and Blue phase, the standard procedure of "find the best and win the day" has gotten a bit monotonous. So I decided to play through some of the older games with a bit more of a challenge.
My first challenge was to take on FireRed, playing the entire game with the first 6 different Pokémon species that I encountered. Mission accomplished.

I am currently working on a restart of my Pearl version with the limitations of an all Steel-Type team, as well as my SoulSilver with an all Flying-Type team. I'll keep you posted on how the games are going. I will say that for my Pearl and SoulSilver, I used an action replay ONLY to obtain my specific 6 Pokémon in their lowest evolved state (except Scizor, because trade evolutions are dumb). I caught them all under level 5, and will be proceeding through the entire game with them.
