Well, he had header files attached:
#include "win.h"
#include "OpenGL.h"
Compile, get error with visual studio being like "wtf is this shit"
Preen through all the files included with the homework and come up dry. There's nothing on the internet about either of these, so they're not standard libraries or anything like that.
Email him saying I'm having the issue. He's all "Herp! Didn't actually include the header files. I updated it now, so download it again."
The second problem was similar (in that he does his include files really stupidly). The include files are kept in, like, one step under the root menu. The actual homework is about 3 directories in. (Class -> Lesson1 -> Include / Programs -> HW -> 6/7/8) I had moved the entire root folder at some point to put it in the designated class folder. This apparently destroyed the linked path to the include files. I had to redownload everything since I wasn't even sure what was unlinked in the process. Groan.
This is the touchiest programming I have ever done in my entire life, and none of it has to do with my code.

I've got a great recipe for lemon meringue pie.
