That's complete bullshit. If you do ANY sort of PvP you'd quickly learn that CC, and interrupts are important. Especially if you play a rogue. Kick will save a good number of asses in dungeons that allow you to interrupt the boss from casting.

But where in the game does it show you or tell you that using CC and interrupts are important?

Right, it doesn't. Other players and other websites tell you that. Meaning, you have to essentially figure it out on your own.
