I think Bat is actually a detective. Mayhaps a sort of caped vigilante, dispensing justice by night.
I also think that Aardvark is a nosey little ground-shuffler, digging through the dirt trying to find insignificant specks of sustenance with which to fuel his accusations.
Deer is just lost. I imagine he'd simply stare vacantly as a speeding mass overtook him. But, by doing so he would cause incredible damage, so mayhaps we wait until we can focus in, take the high ground, and put one between his shoulderblades.
Turtle is probably innocent. Lumbering around, taking his time. Not a care in the world, it would seem. Definitely not a quick enough thinker to be a mafia goon.
