Kole T. Merr Wrote:Oh shit son. The sherrif role is totally useful, except for the mafia's ability to plant evidence on me. I'm willing to bet that they looked at your list, and picked the one person who was innocent to plant evidence on.
And here's a question: If Kaden's the sheriff, why did Raf vote me first? "Trust me"?
Lynch Raf
Calling bullshit on this for two reasons.
One: How do you know the mafia-positive tick is a result of planted evidence? There are a number of roles (some of which you may unknowingly possess, or some that Kaden might unknowingly possess) that would result in you having a mafia-positive tick, though innocent. This is a pretty minor point and isn't very damning.
Two: A self-reveal would be exceptionally stupid if Kaden weren't actually the Sheriff. The true Sheriff (assuming there really is one, which seems safe enough; it's practically a standard role) would investigate Kaden immediately, and would self-reveal the very next day. The Mafia, at this point, has to play for long ball, and can't afford to pull any one-day tricks just to off another townsperson.
This isn't cut in stone, by any means. Kaden may be an insane sheriff (I wouldn't be surprised if Waff assigned at least one of those; it's fucking hilarious to watch, <3 u sig). If that's the case, then when we lynch Kaden the next day (which would probably happen) and find out he's innocent, we know Raf is Mafia. Two down.
Or, evidence may indeed have been planted on you (though you have no way of knowing that).
Too much caffeine, and I'm just rambling. We'll have to sort this out after the fact. Regardless, there's simply no way of moving forward except lynching Kole. If he's Mafia, then Kaden's (probably) Sheriff (or a Mafia member making a stupidly ridiculous gambit). If he's innocent, then there are a number of things we have to take into account and discuss.
The way forward is lynching Kole.
