Last I checked, it was up in the air how many mafia were left.

I'm torn; either Raf and Kaden are both mafia (which would make their earlier 'outing' extremely ballsy, and a risk against a sheriff), or there's just a lot of weirdness.

The part you bolded was actually a typo on my part. It was supposed to read "one of the last mafia..."

That's not just back peddling, either.

If we're assuming Whompt is innocent, then Jarka is as well. Her move of protecting Whompt actually helps quite bit since now they are either both mafia or both townspeople; her innocence is directly tied to his.

If I had been working under the assumption there was only one mafia left, I wouldn't have included that at all, since it wouldn't have made any sense.

It's definitely possible that Leo had evidence planted against him, but Whompt already pointed out why I made that "jump" to Leo. It wasn't at random.

I'll lynch the Lion with you. He may have had evidence planted as well, but I doubt the Mafia would have wasted that ability on someone who wasn't on anyone's list of suspicions.

Of course, you should still be suspicious of me, to some degree because that's the nature of the game. It would be an incredibly ballsy play for one of the mafia members to be directly responsible for getting two other mafia killed. It might make some sense if I were the godfather, but that role's already been killed -- and I would put down money Waff didn't include two godfathers in this game.

Me being mafia and intentionally sacrificing two other mafia members -- including the godfather -- in the hopes of building up trust and then pretending to be the sheriff to further that trust and hope a REAL sheriff doesn't investigate me is the only way me being mafia makes any sense. If you think that's something I'd do, along with tie myself to Raf as his sibling, then yeah, I should be very suspicious.

I can appreciate that this might look random, but I think the train-of-thought is solid here. Investigating Leo made sense and if he had evidence planted on him to make him look guilty, it was a damn lucky play by the mafia.
