Actually... if I read correctly being a sibling doesn't exclude either person from being Mafia and the other not.
It wasn't really suicidal at all. Kraken already had a target on his back if he were the Sheriff, and if he were mafia then your strategy of protecting yourself every night wouldn't have changed.
Even though I revealed and wasn't killed... well, I have to assume it is because of how suspicious I was already. Were I to be killed by Mafia it would only cement the knowledge that the Mafia can plant evidence. Instead, there's still the sneaking suspicion that maybe I am. By leaving me in the game, the mafia has a ready-made fall-boy for when push came to shove.
