So you're favorite things were....everything lol.
Honestly I was really excited for this years E3 but I'm coming away pretty disappointed.
-Firstly, I am not comfortable with the Wiiu. I liked motion controls and I'll defend them until I'm blue in the face because when used right, they CAN be a lot of fun, but this....this to me just seems like a joke. In my opinion this seems like Nintendo trying to both top themselves and take a page out of Apple's inventory without actually having any long term plans though. Yes, the technology in the Wiiu seems kinda cool, but they didn't even show a single game for it and honestly I don't see much you can do with it. It just seems cumbersome and excessive.
-Yes I'm a Halo fanboy, yes I creamed my pants at the Halo 4 trailer. Yes I will buy it opening day and yes I play for months. This was by far the biggest announcement at E3 for me.
-The PSVita seems cool and it's relativity cheap but it only has one really good launch title. Uncharted will be amazing but it's not really enough for me to run out and buy a whole new system. The 3DS had one really cool announcement with Luigi's Mansion 2, but besides that we didn't learn anything new.
-Uncharted 3 looks amazing, no no, I mean it. Absolutely amazing. If you havn't played this franchise yet you're missing out. Where was Twisted Metal though? It 'main evented' Sony's press conference last year and doesn't even get a mention this year? I would have loved a new trailer or some gameplay for that.
Overall I thought this years show was a let down. All 3 companies showed some cool stuff but besides Halo 4 and Wii u NOTHING was new at all. E3 is supposed to get me excited for the year to come but I'm feeling like 2012 might end up being a little hollow now if that was really all they had to show us :/
