I thought the main character getting kidnapped by a women-centric culture whom he then cures of their BDSM-hardened cold hearts through the magical power of his cock (paraphrasing... slightly) was stupid the first time.
But it happens more than once. The women who doubt him come to realize how awesome he and his ... sword ... are.
I mean, hey, I liked the books that I read (the first four? it's been like over a decade since I read them). I thought they were okay. But those parts?
That's what I mean when I say he 'has issues' - it's not because there's violence and sexuality, but because it's the same kind of fetishistic sexuality over and over again.
I should've said 'kinks' and not 'issues,' really.
