When you have three points, you should NOT just defend. My last win basically proved why. When you have three points, the other team only needs to capture ONE point to regain the lead. However, if you had four points, the enemy would need to capture DOS pointasdostas to regain the lead. What's easier to cap, one point or two?
Offense IS the best defense on Dominion. Points should change hands almost constantly, throughout the entire game. If your opponents are capturing your point, you capture theirs. There's only a few champions where defending is a major part of their play (champs like Karthus or Heimer, who can hold off more than one champion for a long time) while the rest should be either ganking champions to prevent them from capping, or capping points and forcing them to respond.
Also, regarding the Kayle ult, wouldn't it still break if the channeler was stunned or something?
