The first of any, the end of all.

Hi there, Adam,

CDBZ used to be heavily involved with the canon characters of the Dragonball Z world. Unfortunately, it came to the point where there were too many inconsistencies (when one person played Vegeta for 5 years, then left, the new Vegeta would have to take on that history otherwise it would ruin the other character's histories involved with that canon). There was also a major shortage of "good" characters.

We decided, around three-four years ago to switch to custom only. In this regard, no one can play a canon character. Characters such as King Kai and Piccolo are now NPC's and you would require staff approval before RPing them. King Kai, for instance, is our main NPC in the afterlife. It would be nearly impossible to have a member take him from that realm.

Given the fact that we are now custom character only, it's up to the members to think of unique story lines. We have Quests, staff run Sagas, and Dragonball's to be hunted down. The possibilities are endless.

Please read our sticky thread in this forum, located here: http://www.cdbzrpg.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25093 It will tell you how to join our site and be a part of the story.

You don't have to be a part of other people's stories, or keep track of stats or XP. When I made my custom character, I didn't. I wrote a story by myself for months and enjoyed playing a character in the DBZ world. However, every character needs a roster and a join sheet.

I hope you consider joining us, we're always looking for new members . You will be activated upon completion and approval of your join sheet.
