yeah, I have no idea what diseases do. I just get 'em and eventually get around to touching a shrine. Meh. As for conjuration, yeah, I do a little of the mage assassin thing, summon a sword, sneak, one-shot, but I want conjuration to mean summoning creatures to pwn shit or at least do a little tanking. Zombies take like 20 seconds to get into combat(first they have to rise, and unless your next opponent is right next to you they have to run back to grab their weapon when you next engage, etc.) which is ridiculous, and atronachs seem to be made of glass.
A man in a wheelchair with a rocket launcher can make a big explosion once, then he's as weak as any other cripple.
