i got the $40 hardback guidebook, and it specifically says dont try to max out all skills on a single character. you'll have to reach lvl70 just to unlock most perks
just ignore quests you dont want to do. my quest list is full of junk on my current lvl30 char, and i dont care if that dipshit needs a wagon wheel or some bandits are waylaying merchants on a major road. i'm on a quest to rule the world
to that end, collecting daedra hearts and ebony ingots for daedric crafting is tougher than i thought it'd be. but thankfully training smith/enchant skills is easier than ever so once i do get the materials i'll be able to forge them easily.
