And let's be honest here, most game journalism (at least until recently- somewhat) is largely shitty anyway.

Fun is the whole point of the enterprise. The whole point. Graphics feed into it, storyline feeds into it, gameplay feeds into it, but it all comes down to fun. Buggy-as-fuck games can be retarded amounts of fun. Technically perfect games can be dull as shit.
