If he has fast reaction times he should be able to clone the Aegis, not to mention this trade event only occurs till level 6 where Wukong will have a natural advantage over Panth because Panth's ulti really workable.

I'm willing to try this in a match-up though, I'm not really super at Wukong yet and need to tinker a runepage for him that matches my playstyle but I think I could take a Panth.

If you continue to trade like that throughout level 5, you would've already died to a Pantheon and let him snowball. Plus, the stun doesn't even really matter in this case. It's more the passive proc + gap closer that makes W amazing.
