The first doesn't approach consensus. The second involved something that was prohibitively difficult to implement, programmatically.

#2 didn't have to be done by programming, even it were prohibitively difficult to implement (which it really is not). At worst it requires some dude to update a list of ranks every 3 months. It had several volunteers. #1 is why am i explaining what i just explained in my last post fuck this going back to silently banging my head against the wall when i read this thread
