LoM2 - Day Three

Pre Post Edit: Kaden posted before I could finish this post so just assume that I posted at the exact same time he did.

I'm convinced of Keiko's guilt for a few reasons, but mainly because it was my plan for a WW type player to get information on Day 1 while at the same time ensuring their safety by bluffing being the very champ getting that info and/or being loud and obnoxious as I usually am anyway. It worked regardless, and Mal died (HAHAHAHAHA) because they targeted me (LeBlanc, btw) so I totes believe what Rose is saying.

I would not have been so adamant about lynching Keiko if she offered more than what she's said so far, which is jack shit. She neither confirms nor denies Rose's accusations and seems more resolved to her inevitable fate of lynching. I remember the first mafia game we played on Chubbs. When I was about to be lynched by Waff and his politician's campaign against me, I kind of gave up (because I was mafia and there wasn't anything I could do to stop a rather flashy bullshit approach to lynching based on nothing at all) like it seems she's doing now. If Rose's power had targeted somebody like Kaden or Meer (he's not in this game but you know he'd be vocal) then they would defend themselves because they are familiar with the game's working on this forum and are used to using rhetoric to sway opinions to their favor. Keiko's new to the game, and by saying nothing makes her more suspicious to me, and at the same time makes me trust Rose's information.

I'd believe me being LeBlanc and also being a townie based solely on what happened Day 1 and the GM's description of Night 1. Out of everyone in the game, you can trust the GM (Ashe) and what he says. And he said LeBlanc was targeted by the Mafia (vaguely, but you can imply it) and that, through the use of some ability, escaped death and passed on the killing blow to Zilean (Mal [HAHAHAHAHA]). I'm a member of the town, and I want the town to win. I don't want to say that by distrusting me or by smearing anything and everything I say makes you Mafia, but it seems rather suspicious that you'd distrust somebody who was said (by the guy running the game) to have been targeted for death at night (and unless you are assuming roles, only the mafia processes such an ability to do so).

What I think, from what I've remembered reading and from what the GM has said about Night 2, is that Kaden (Caitlyn) or Vad (Victor) is definitely mafia. It can't be both. Kaden has been very hesitant to lynch Keiko both today and the previous day phase, despite being the most reasonable choice to go on. I also find it strange how he claims to have an investigative power but hasn't used it until last night. It seems more reactionary or triggered than an active ability, like a few people have suggested. It seems more likely that Vad was trying to use his power on Kaden, but Caitlyn's power prevented him from doing that and instead revealed him. It seems like a very forgiving version of the "Grandma with Shotgun" role that everyone seems to be giving to the mafia.

On the flip side, Vad has been... Vad. His erratic and outrageous claims backed up by hunch and hot gas make him stand out for sure, and his distrust of me and Rose seems to further that. Likewise, Kaden could totally be a "Grandma with Shotgun" role that reveals instead of kills for the townie side, and Vad was a mafia member trying to kill him which was prevented by the Caitlyn trap. Both of these scenarios seems highly likely to me, but I don't know which one to stick to. I'll leave it up to the rest of you to dissect my ramblings and point out what flaws you see so that we can gather more information and shit.
