Name: Karl Gaefumadr
Species: Human
Home: Gifrvidr (Within the Green Sea)[originally taken of Eisenhardt])
Occupation: Clansman
Physical Description: Very tall at about 6'6" and lean, weighing about 14 stone. He wears very bright blonde hair and soft green eyes. A thin beard follows his jawline and runs from his chin in a tangled line. A small fur-lined cap sits on his head. He wears now a long sleeve dark green tunic with dark patches of fur upon the shoulders, horizontally bound by thin strips of leather down to the waist, flaring out as it extends to his knees. A thick belt with a long tail wraps about his midsection, threaded through a wooden buckle. His legs are wrapped in thick fur-lined leather that is bound in thin dark straps. Thick leather boots are upon his feet.
Additional Information:
Karl was the son of a man and woman in Eisenhardt, though he would not be raised by them. Instead he was exchanged for an ugly changeling by a family of trolls who took him home with them to their forest of Gifrvidr. Many boys and girls are eaten, put to work till dead or used for their components, but Karl came in a time of plenty. He was fed and clothed (for there was surplus for him to have), and indeed lived in the home of his new surrogate family deep within the woods. After many years that he managed to not die, he became a Fostri, a foster-son to the people of the wood.
It was upon this year however that the trolls suffered a single murder, such a rare occurrence within the wood, and his clansmen were taken aback. Cold-iron, it was said, was found within the kerling's chest. Iron? Cold-iron? Within the wood? Certainly it was the work of menskr, for none else could lift nor even stand to be near the blighted metal. Karl then, the only one amidst them able to pull the iron free, laid the old woman to rest and was sent to seek revenge.
