Yes, your vote was killing one. That was actually my original plan, withdraw at the end of the day, but you were awake longer/earlier than I was. I only withdrew mine on the off chance that someone tried to sneak in the kill by switching or throwing in a sudden vote.

Ah. Well, I didn't really have a plan of any kind. Its Day One and I'm not a fan of actual lynches, though I don't mind poking around for information. Anything to get people posting. If I really wanted to rock the vote in any way, I likely would have waited until an hour or two before, but I figured I wouldn't be awake anywhere near then to actually change anything so I wanted to do it before I went to sleep. That still left something around 8 - 10 hours (taking a wild guess, not going to go look at time stamps) for pretty much anything to happen, to include an entire shift of votes to whoever else raised the ire of the mob. Either way, I didn't really want to be part of it for exactly the same reason you mentioned, that Day One lynches are damn near worthless.

I'm not really looking at baselines or recent activity or any of that. I just care about actually posting. I have absolutely no way of manipulating this game other than posting here, so I want there to be as much of it as possible.

Agreed. I'm bored so posting a lot tonight (and likely any time I'm off, given that I don't get to actively participate in the discussions when I run it but lurk a LOT) and I'd love to see a lot of activity. I really hate days where its only around two pages, give or take one, and half of it is "Meh, we have nothing and we probably lose anyway, surrender at 20 because Apophis is going to hit."

Let's at least make this enjoyable.
