I wanted to play Wizard, but fuck if damn near everyone I know is playing one. I considered Witch Doctor but seeings as I've been bored with my WoW lock, I said fuck it and played the same class I did in Beta and D2 (after my Necro) - Barbarian.
There's something satisfying about straight lifesteal tanking shit with Frenzy. The Butcher wasn't all that bad for me, given that I'm fairly mobile and can actually take a hit. That said, I'm only level 16 or so due to work.
If you guys want to add me, I think my tag or whatever is Dariden. If not, I can consider Real ID for some people.
EDIT: Bonus to being the only Barbarian in my circle of friends is that they are now donating me Rares that they acquire while I'm at work (bunch of them either requested days or happened to be off, whereas this is a heavy work week for me). That's cool, though it sucked knowing I just walked into Act 2 and the person I'd grouped with for half of Act 1 was fighting the final boss as I walk through the door and level 36.
