I thought you said my idea was bad because it would reduce value of some cards? The current mechanics mean that a winning deck must be built to override those mechanics, meaning all other *strategies* are de facto inferior. I've always thought the game would open up if the draw system was more stable.

Back to DotP 2013.

Finally unlocked all of the cards for Peacekeepers. I'm stuck at fighting this deck in the Revenge campaign mode (the Revenge decks are granted four copies of a lot of good cards, where you are limited to one or two) but I think now I have a decent strategy to take it head on. Just have to beat the draw system...

The overall strategy is to summon a legion, and buff them with enchantments and creature auras. All creatures are soldiers, except for Fiend Hunter (human cleric) and Archon of Justice (archon), included for their ability to Exile targets. Victory comes down to three major creatures:

Crusader of Odric - gains +1/+1 for every creature under my control.

Odric, Master Tactician - attacks with him and three others gives me control of the opponent's defense.

Captain of the Watch - summons three 1/1 white Soldier tokens when it enters the field, and grants +1/+1 and Vigilance to other soldiers (excludes itself, but may affect another Captain of the Watch).

If I can get one out I'm good, with two I usually have the advantage, but if I can get all three then I win in two turns or less. My build is vulnerable to offensive sorcery and fliers. That's why I included eight cards with Exile effects, four creatures and four enchantments. The four cheap ones can target creatures, while the four expensive ones will affect target nonland permanent or any permanent, respectively.
