The Big Question: First or Third

I like first-person sometimes for roleplaying. Funnily enough, I find it kind of weird that so many roleplaying sites don't allow it. But by and large, and what I want to write in for my books, is third person. Meer laid it down in that first post. I think it's better for a group of characters who all have a portion of the story's focus.
