That's my stance. You are saying "punish them for it" but what if someone else randomly runs into us and we get a forced powerup right before the fight that we didn't plan on. The other guy dies, but we are on a tier 2 cooldown with only 24 hours of sudden finale warning. It basically means "good game" right there.
