Ok, well, if you want something similar to the original formula, then here's how you'll do it.
The original had Str and Defense equal, with all the others just a bit weaker. Times them all by something.
Let's say you do this:
Str x 5
Def x 5
Speed x 4
Stamina x 4
Recovery x 4
Attack Power x 4
Then you take the final result of that, and create a base multiplier. For the sake of the example, let's go with x 200.
Ok, so let's say your starting starts are all 3.
Str 3 x 5 = 15
Def 3 x 5 = 15
Speed 3 x 4 = 12
Stamina 3 x 4 = 12
Recovery 3 x 4 = 12
Attack Power 3 x 4 = 12.
Add those up. You get 78. Then times by your base mutliplier, or that x 200 up there.
You get 15,600 as a Ki. Then you can raise and lower those values or which stats you want to be equal to show what stats will affect your Ki the most and to show just how much they do. Perhaps you'll want a lower base multiplier and a higher per stat multiplier. Perhaps you'll want the opposite. You may even want to have all the stats go at x 6 and the base be at x123, to get a net result of 13,284.
Anything like that.
I won't give you the original Ki formula, but I will give you an idea to work off of to build your own.
