I'm playing WoW, and its great. I started by playing an Orc, and we start in a valley of training to become warriors of the horde. (which follows the storyline!)
My first quest is to practice on some weak mottled boars, which is easy. Then it gets harder. Well, my next quest is to kill the vicious scorpids to show my strength, this is harder then it sounds. Next, a faorly easy quest, from a cook in the valley, i must pick apples from him, and bring it back to him so he can make a cool cactus appel surprise, which increases my stamina for a short time.
Well, the quests go on, killing betraying voodoo priests by Sen'jan Village and killing a orc warlock that is terrorizing the valley, hitting peons for sleeping on the job, etc, etc, etc. This is very fun to do, because, you can just go through the quests, instead of grinding all the time.
Tradeskills? Amazing, though i'm only doing 2, mining and blacksmithing, I haven't seen any mining places yet, but you need a mining pick for it, so i'm getting one ASAP, so i make myself some copper chain pants! Whoo hoo....You have to change things to liquid metal and then use your recipes, at a forge. Tradeskills can help pass time, and help people.
Graphics? Don't get me started on graphics, if you have played Warcraft 3, you will see a good pattern if you look at both of them, you actually feel like one of those wee soldiers in the RTS, or perhaps a hero later on.
Community is fantasic so far, i ask where to find a place, how to do a quest, people don't turn me off, they show me what to do, help me out, i hope the community stays this way for retail.
Gameplay is easy to pick up, i learn how to fight, jump, swim, and pick up items in about 5 minutes, its easy to pick up, since there are hints at the bottom of the screen if you want them to be there.
Travel is pretty good, but the zeppelins need to be fixed, i'm trapped on one. Thats why i'm here right now, or I would be playing.
Bugs and lag, this is major, since its open beta, its mega lag, this should cut down after release though, and bugs? There are a few, like the zeppelin one earlier I mention, your game can still crash, but i think that is mostly lag.
PvP is good to, its system makes people avoid killing noobies, so you don't have to worry right away, and fighting a person is like fighting a "creep".
