"No, I'm sure I can handle it myself," Goku replied, standing up from his chair. He couldn't believe the audacity of Reijin. While he was straining to punch him, he just kept talking to him. Maybe he was trying to fix up their tattered past? No, he was a Saiya-jin. He wasn't like that. He was more than likely playing with his mind. With that, Goku walked off towards one of the check ins to board the ship. Reijin watched him the entire way.

Goku reached one of the check in stations. There was an arching gate over the entrance to the ship, and a man dressed in similar attire to the announcer stood with a small cube like object. This would be where he would store his items, Goku thought.

"Hello," the man stated with passion likened to a corpse. "This is where you store your items."

Goku nodded. "I figured."

"Please press a finger down on the top of the cube," Goku was asked. This face was silver, while the others were blue. Placing his index finger on the cube, a colourful flash went off on the face. Lifting up his finger, Goku noticed a blue copy of his fingerprint upon the cube, which quickly vanished. The top face opened up with a click and a beep.

"Please place all items in the box," the man ordered with forced enthusiasm. Goku put both hands in his side pockets, digging around to find his items. From his left pocket, he pulled out his rebreather he bought from planet Frost and popped it in the box. He also found his fully upgraded scouter and added it to the stash. It was a pity, he had only just got that new scouter and he couldn't use it. He detached his cloaking device from the front of his belt and placed it in.

"There, that's everything," he told the man holding the cube. He nodded and closed the cube, and it made the same beep and click it did upon opening.

"Your items are secured. No one else will be able to retrieve them except you," the man stated, "or if they have your finger." He sniggered.

"Yes, you're hilarious," Goku siad dryly, rolling his eyes. "Now, can I go?"

"Hold on, I just need to tell you a few more things," the attendant stated. "This is your room." He handed Goku a small strip of paper with the number 143 upon it. "This is your room number. There will be a silver panel by the door. Put your finger on it and it will open. This is so only you can get in."

"Why is that?" Goku asked, memorising his room's number.

"We've had previous participants try to kill each other on the trip over," he answered. "Most of the attempts were made when the victim was in their room. Now would you please step through the gate?"

Goku walked through the arch as he was instructed. There was a beep, and by the attendant a computer screen flashed with all of his details.

"You're 36? You don't look that old," the attendant stated, a little out of character from his previous persona.

"I'm a Saiya-jin," Goku replied. "Our bodies age slower than most other beings. That's why I look younger than you would think."

"OK, one last question," the attendant said. "How has your armour been customised?"

"I had the armour and cloak crafted to look like the gi I wear," Goku answered, passing his hand over his chest. "It's purely aesthetic."

"Well, there's nothing here to prove otherwise," the attendant said. "OK, you're ready for your collar."

Goku sighed. "Ah yes, my collar." The attendant walked over and snapped the large black ring around his neck. At first it was far too big to stay on his neck, but quickly it shrunk, adjusting itself until it hugged snuggly.

"Ugh, thank you," Goku said with false appreciation, walking off to find someone he knew, or maybe Goten if he wasn't running around too much.
