Listening to the announcer prattle on about minor details concerning the Dante's Abyss tournament had been a troublesome task. Like a child let loose in a candy store, Raditzu's ki sense bounced from one warrior to the next, probing into the depths of their hidden powers. Some didn't have much to hide at all. Some warriors seemed to posses an endless well of strength. The strongest of those he tried to get a good look at, but that was not an easy task with the crowd. The ki signatures of those that he already knew stood out from the crowd like a sort of beacon, and the saiya-jin became aware of how annoying 18's lack of ki could be. He had looked for the android on his way in, but to little avail. He wasn't having any easier a time finding her now, either. His ki sense picked out a few familiar energy sources, but that's not what made the saiyan do a bit of a double take. Reijin seemed to be seated in close proximity to Goku, and Trunks was not too far off himself. Why the deck didn't erupt into a brawl was beyond the long-haired one. Presently it was time to go get ready for the trip.
"Talk about a shitty job." Rad commented to the person overseeing his item storage. He had already placed a forefinger on a small pad on his personal storage box. The box opened with a small hiss.
"Yer tellin' me." A short male responded. "Please put any items that are not approved for the tournament into this box."
"Ok." Rad acknowledged the man. He made a show of placing each item into the box. A fully upgraded scouter, a battle vizor, a pouch of four senzu beans, a small rebreather, a cloaking device, a capsule containing his HeadQuarters, a second capsule containing his space ship, and finally his weighted clothing were all thrown into and sealed within the small containment box.
"What, no kitchen sink?"
"Awww man." Rad slapped his forehead. "I knew I forgot something."
The saiyan was directed into another room, this time with a woman attendant. He pulled his armor off of his body, his cloak connected to it, and handed it to her. She balked slightly at the weight of the protective covering, but shortly set onto some kind of device that Raditzu had never seen before. It identified where the armor came for, detailed its modifications to fit the saiyan, and listed the upgrades he had purchased along with the armor. It seemed the everything was in order with the armor. Without his armor on, Raditzu was left wearing a skin-tight muscle shirt and loose sweat/leaisure pants. The woman instructed Rad to lift up his hair as she made a quick scan of his upper body: the shirt left little room to hide anything. Then she began patting down his legs.
"I didn't know everyone around here was so friendly." Rad commented as he watched the woman work.
"Don't flatter yourself."
She finished quickly and handed Raditzu back his armor. The saiyan slipped it on and was directed to step through something that looked like a metal detector. The woman explained that the redundancy in checking the long-haired warrior was in case he had something that the scanner wasn't designed to pick up on. She listed off a number of possibile items without prompting, and Raditzu politely feigned interest. With that out of the way she told him he just had get a collar fitted and then he could be on his way. Rad's only response was to bunch up his mass of hair and lift it above his neck. In a minute he was on the ship and looking for something to keep him entertained. There were several places he could be, but decided to simply seek out the first familiar ki he sensed. Much to his surprise, he found himself running into Reijin.
"I don't know if anyone's ever told you this," Rad said as he approached the younger saiya-jin, "but you make being an asshole look easy." Raditzu finished his statement with a grin.
