Destination: Dante's Abyss

[Burter]

"Yea, just like that!" Burter called from the center of the pool as he watched the saiyan girl kick hard to keep herself up. She frantically moves her hands and feet to stay above water, doing much work then she really needed. "Pace yourself, Bra, you dont need to kick that fast."

"Finally," she said, ignoring his intructions. She clung on to the reptile's arm when she reached him, stopping the movements of her legs. "Okay, I think thats all I want now, Burter. Break time...please?" She looked up, trying to look as innocent as she could. Of course, that wasn't hard to do for her, but Burter had seen her when she was a raging super saiyan, so that didn't work very well.

"Okay," he said anyway, and moved towards the edge again. She immediately climbed out and got a towel as Burter got up. The first thing he did was move away from Bra so he could remove the excess skin. He had been in water alot more then he intended, so his arms now had some patches of raw skin that needed to molt.

"Whats with the shedding...?" Bra asked hesitantly, seeming kind of irked by the whole thing.

"Its called molting. Some of the skin cant survive in water, so he takes a few days to reaplce," he explained. He didn't need to dry off as his scales absorbed alot of the water. "I'm gonna go for a walk, you gonna be okay?"

"Yea, I'll be fine. Jeez, I can take care of myself," she said, as if insulted.

Burter laughed it off and walks away quietly, away from the area. He let his mind wander, drifting off to think about the young girl. Bra had come a long way since had first met her, but as he thought more about it, he had changed to. Maybe Burter had come a long way as well.
