"She can take care of herself, though. As for finding people that are stronger than me," Rad flashed a grin of mocking superiority, "I'm counting on it."
As had happened in loading station, a voice rang out over a loudspeaker system, directing everyone to follow the arrows to another sort of debriefing. Everybody moved slowly, in a large line. It was easy to tell that they had either already landed at Dante, or they would be landing very shortly. The atmosphere was quite and somber, giving the prosesion a very death-march-esque quality. Murmering from some of the other warriors announced previously unconfessed doubts about being in this tournament. Rad's tail whipped back and forth, and grin of unchecked mirth spread across his face.
"You feel that?" He turned his head from side to side. Reijin tilted his head to one side in response. "They're all going to die."
