Thoughts rushed through Android 20's mind as Zarbon slowly told him of the fate of his son. Seconds passed in silent tension before the android spoke again.
"I told him not to make the same mistake I did." Gero said, directed seemingly at no one.
"I left those plans for Cyber Cell out in my lab, along with Android 23's plans. I told him those androids were never meant to be finished. They were too powerful, too destructive, too... uncontrolable." Gero spoke, his eyes glazed over. He sighed. "My creation has been finished by my son, and it seems he built Cyber Cell the way it was meant to be. Immune to all known fighters. He was the second most perfect machine I had ever designed. And now, he's free to rampage the Earth. Oh, what have I done?"
"Listen Gero, we still can assemble a form of resistance to this monstrosity of you and your son." Zarbon stated.
"To what use? You experienced first hand Cyber Cell's power. There is no known fighter in the universe that can hurt it." Gero moaned.
"We'll think of something. You and I should meet up after this tournament to discuss our possible courses of action." Zarbon assured the doctor.
"Yes, that sounds good. We should wait until after the tournament. In the meantime, we have the King of the changelings outside waiting for an answer to his proposal to form an alliance with him. What do you say? I'm all for it, we may be weak alone, but together we stand a chance." Gero asked Zarbon, awaiting a response.
OOC: Sorry if I cut the CC discussion short a bit, but this is DA, so we kinda need to get back to the action.
