?It seems I have no choice,? announced the human, preparing himself for battle. Burori nodded, sliding a foot of his own back. ?I won?t hold back,? declared Jacke Low. The Saiya-Jin didn?t expect any less. This would be the Saiya-Jin?s first battle. The first day had almost passed on Dante, and already multiple warriors had perished amongst the fray. Sector A itself has seen very little action, and Broli was eager to get things under way. It was as a hidden force beckoned him to take command in the sector by annihilating all competition, even those who he didn?t really see much competition from. Jacke wasn?t one of those people, though. At that moment, both calm, the difference of their powers seemed only minimal at best. Something within Broli filled with glee at this. The Saiyan loved a good challenge, and he wasn?t interested in taking on a weakling for his first fight. With any luck, however, he?d be able to get through it without the Black Virus taking control. He wasn?t looking to kill Jacke Low, but if he found himself indeed reverting to the Black Demon? There would be nothing in his way except Low himself. And thus, with a bang, the two blasted forward, pitting their strengths against one another. Punch was met with a punch, and a kick was met with a kick. They seemed to be perfectly equal, their bodies lifting into the atmosphere as they fought. The winds rushed around them, nature spectating the fight just as much as the crowd who watched from cameras hidden amidst the environment. A kick was unleashed, Broli spinning into the soft earth. He climbed to his feet, wiping away the wet snow from his clothes. Jacke landed a few yards away, ready to go another round. Without a word, the two went at it again, throwing their physical strikes against each other in a hope to land a successful blow. Even with the incredible speed portrayed with each attack, neither seemed to be putting all of their ability into the fight.
It soon became obvious that both warriors were ignoring openings, wanting to study their opponent first before making any rash decisions. Time and again, Broli would ignore an opening, as critical as it may have seemed, Jacke Low no doubt doing the same. The crowd watched from their stands, impressed that such an old man could keep up with the youthfulness of the Saiya-Jin. Another opening came, Broli ignoring it once again ? or so he planned. Without any control over his own body, his charred right arm lashed out, delivering a hook to the old human?s jaw. Jacke slid through the snow, the powder accumulating at his back until he came to a halt. His opponent landed, waiting for him to get up. The old man wiped away the blood from his lip with his forearm, focusing on the crimson liquid. It had been a rather unfair move on Burori?s part. The Saiya-Jin thought so as well, as much as he tried to avoid admitting it. I threw that punch as if I didn?t have any control at all?
?That hurt,? cooed the old man. ?I suppose there no point in holding back now. We?ve studied each other enough.? Broli agreed by unfolding his arms and placing himself in a defensive stance. His finger tips curled, motioning for Jacke Low to make the next move?
