Area D: Day One

[Android-18]

The dust settled and Android 18 fell to her knees, ?You fool?? She whispered to herself and stared at the charred earth, ?You stupid, stupid fool.? She stayed in that position for some time, just staring at the spot where the red haired fighter had been standing, ?Why didn?t you just surrender?? This was something new to the android, she rarely killed. She barely remembered the last time she had killed anyone. She pressed her hot hands to her face. They still tingled with ki energy. She felt the wetness of tears, if only the fighter had not been so proud. She removed her hands from her dusted face and stared once more at the vacant spot, not a bit of the warrior remained. Feeling a little displaced the android got back to her feet and winced. She felt sore and beat up, one glance at the foreboding barricade and she knew she would need rest first. She recalled the map of the area, the bunker would be near by.

A power signature tugged at the back of her mind. It was familiar, and it was close. The android walked with a slight limp, the prideful girl had done some damage to her. She shook her head and continued to trek toward her destination. A few times she spotted some of the Synex warriors but she tried hard to dodge behind some tree or boulder near by. It took her longer to get to the bunker than she wanted. Finally she saw it not far in the distance and after making sure there was no one near by she made her way toward the opening.

She stopped and stood still when she saw the familiar frame of the Saiya-Jin, ?Selipa?? She said, ?Well isn?t this a surprise, I didn?t think to see you here.? 18 said, she tensed a little as the other warrior noticed her. 18 shook her head and reached into the pouch at her waist, she popped the fabled senzu bean into her mouth, this would fix her up, and she could grab another one here before she left. She looked to the girl again, would she try to fight the android? Or would she be friendly?
