Uub was alone again as he walked the Bunker searching for something to put the Burning out of his mind. The anger overwhelmed him...why had he not jumped in...was it because he was weak..he shook his head. He might not be the strongest but he was strong enough. His fist smashed through the wall buckling it to a section of fine powder and rubble. "DAMN IT" it rang along the corridor.
Without giving it much thought the human found himself in a small poorly lit room, the light flickered. The cool surface of the cement wall behind him was no confort, only an annoyance. As he slid to the ground Uub banged his head backward, cracking the wall. * Flashes of his past swept over him, his family, the fire...the burnt cacked flesh, the screams. He had locked up when he saw it....* Guilt swept through his shivering body* "It almost happened again.." The human held his face in his hands as a few tears trickled down his cheeks "NEVER AGAIN!!!!!" Uub jolted up backfisting the wall taking a chunk out of it. His aura slowly pulsed around him as he stood taking deep breaths "I will die before I let them down again.."
The metal door swished closed as he walked away back toward the group, blood trickling from his knuckles onto the polsihed stone floor. Guilt was tearing him apart, and the flashes of the past racked his body with anger...he would be damned if he lost another family to fear. Yes fear...fear of failing again like he did before...with another family.
