Area A: Day One

His aura seemed to grow accustomed to the slightest variations in the creature's own spiritual energy, aligning itself on the positive end and slipping right in. Reijin found it a lot more difficult than trying to use his aura for destructive purposes. With a simple Ki blast, all he had to do was add enough energy to it or focus it and scale the wavelength to get the most damaging effect, to effectively break through another's aura and then tear into the flesh. With this... He was unsure of exactly what to do, but he allowed his subconcious to guide him through it. He felt the positive energy align perfectly, but he still had the negative energy off just a couple of degrees...

It felt as if hours had flowed by, even though he was sure it was only a few minutes. Each second seemed to echo within his mind, as he worked to pentrate the puzzle that was the greenish skinned being's soul. He found it quite entertaining, in the least, and yet he enjoyed the learning experience as well. He had managed to continue holding his positive aura in sync with the other's, but everytime he thought he had the perfect frequency on his negative aspect, it seemed he would be one degree off in small variations. The differences were so subtle, so minute, and yet it seemed to be so important when it came to this. Perhaps if he learned how to do this effectively enough, to heal another through the useage of Ki alone, a skill often laughed at by most warriors, he could continue to perfect his own skill with his Ki in ways so as to be able to have complete control over his own energy and to be able to create new, more devastating methods of destroying those that stood between him and his current goal.

THERE! he thought, the joy of his accomplishment sweeping into him, quickly to be dismissed by his well disciplined mind. He had finally aligned his aura completely. He was essentially at one with his patient. It was almost euphoric, and yet at the same time, soothing to the hardened warriors mind. He had managed to align the auras, and he then spread his along the other's body, penetrating more than just an outer film, seeping into the creature's own spiritual fabric. The creature began to glow a deep bluish color, as Reijin's aura and it's own began to work together in tandem. Reijin had done similar before, with his Feedback technique, but this seemed to be the true antithesis to that technique. Instead of employing his aura to coax another's into becoming destructive in it's dormant form, he was instead attempting to encourage the other's aura into a more rejuvinating form, helping the energy flow...
