The snow struggled to carry the weight of the Saiyan, every footstep cratering into the soft powder. He walked with no sense of direction, a wanderer of the wilderness. The snow had long ceased, leaving Burori to travel through white plains with no purpose other than to destroy. A figure appeared in the distance, flames of fiery red engulfing him as he approached the Super Saiya-Jin. He landed in the snow, kicking up fresh powder as his feet slid into the earth. The Saiyan King was taken aback. ?Broli?? he asked, leaning forward. He barely recognized his old cohort. The King?s aide had changed immensely, his hair now golden. Burori stared back with his pupilless eyes, an expression of disgust spread over his face. He raised his hand slightly, preparing to destroy the king. And yet, something inside of him beckoned otherwise, the demon?s captured spirit wanting nothing less than the survival of his king. ?What do you want?? retorted the demon, impatiently restraining himself. King Vegita prepared to speak, hesitant to stay any longer, as he noticed the tightening fist of his peer. ?You wanted to meet up? Remember??
Broli stared off into the sky, as if recollecting some dream from long ago. At last, he nodded, reconnecting focus with his king. ?Ah? Yes. You are Bejita Ou, King of all of Vegeta-Sei.? The king nodded, taking a moment to linger on the subject, his pride swelling. ?Yes, yes. I was king, until? I was betrayed.? His eyes darted to one side, his face becoming flushed. Hatred was the only emotion to be felt. Broli simply smiled back, as if ignorant to the entire thing. ?Oh yes! I?m quite aware. You were betrayed by him.? Such an odd response. ?Him? Oh, yes, Nubian,? said the Saiyan King, his anger returning. ?He?s here,? whispered Burori, looking off to one side. Only a look of pure confusion came from the king. His counterpart was making no sense. Not only had it seemed that the warrior had been submitted to a complete physical renewal, but also his mind and thoughts also seemed different. ?Nubian?? questioned the king. If Nubian really was there, then it would be absolutely necessary for them to find him and kill him. He had to take back the throne. No longer would he allow his people to suffer under such a tyrannical reign. Burori cocked his head to one side, peering off into the distance. His golden locks flowed softly in the wind, an air of freshness filling his nostrils. ?No? The one sent by Sativa? He wants to kill me? He?s? different.? Bejita Ou pressed a button on his scouter, two readings appearing on the crimson screen. Their power levels were astounding, and they were approaching him fast.
As they came into view, it was clear that they were Saiya-Jin. Their brown curls streamed aside their faces in the wind, their muscles bulging underneath their garments. Both wore an unusual armor, one that the king had never set eyes on before. The armor was the color of mud, and yet, it appeared to have a faint greenish glow to it. Disregarding it, he watched the two carefully, wondering if an attack was imminent. Broli made the decision to initiate communication, stepping forward and motioning towards the larger of the two. ?Welcome back,? he smiled. The taller one scratched his head, rather shocked at the transformation of the warrior. Still, he considered it as nothing less than negligible, his own arrogance spilling out of his mouth. ?I told you I?d be back,? he bowed, identifying himself as the Sativan agent who encountered Burori from earlier. ?I never did tell you my name, Burori. It?s Reico. I figure that I should be a gentleman before returning the same pain you dealt me and my troupe.?
?And what happened to your troupe?? asked Broli, noticing that only a similar warrior stood next to Reico. The four others were missing. Reico ran his fingers up the contours of his armor, wallowing in his pride. ?Mmm? After our fight, I promised you that I would return stronger. And so I have. You see, Sativa has more influence than you would think. So, you could say that it wouldn?t be too hard for her to? ?influence? Dante officials to look the other way while she smuggled in armor.? The soldier gave a hard slap to his chest, attempting to imply the durability of the armor. ?And here you see it, my new armor. Unfortunately? My men couldn?t exactly handle the? after-effects. You see, this isn?t just any ordinary armor.? He continued to stroke the sturdy surface lightly, more in admiration than anything else. And as if it was a living, breathing creature, the armor responded, the faint green amplifying into clarity. ?Illumium,? whispered the demon, recognizing the mineral. Dylock had used it to turn himself into a horrendous beast of unimaginable, but not unstoppable, power. It was clear that, however much Sativa had her hands on, she had used the Illumium in the process of creating the armor. ?So you?re looking for a fight? I warn you? The Broli from this morning has gone, and I, the Black Demon, have arisen into supremacy.?
The Saiyan?s eyes narrowed, his lips curving slyly. ?So have I.?
