Android 20 stood, arms crossed, watching Zarbon's "Possibility Cannon" bearing down on the pinned King Cold. The bright beam got closer and closer, but King Cold was still very stuck. He thrashed about, trying to remove his horn from the rock hard ground, but it seemed he was doomed. The kaleidoscopic beam exploded around where the King of the changelings once stood. The shockwave from the blast whipped wind into the face of the android and mutant alike, several blades of grass flying through the air sliced a gash on the side of 20's face.
The now half-blind mutant lowered his hands, thinking the deed was done, and King Cold was no more. But before Zarbon even made it to the ground, his scouter beeped loudly, and he turned around to see King Cold flying in it high speeds straight for him. Now both of Cold's horns were snapped off. That explained how he had gotten away from the blast in time. Zarbon just had enough time to catch the bone-breaking punch the changeling threw at him, but it knocked his arm way back, hyper-extending it, causing Zarbon to grimace in pain.
Cold was about to deliver a two-handed blow to Zarbon, but just before he threw his hands down, Gero grabbed Cold's stumps that used to be horns, and flipped him over backwards, slamming him into the ground. Cold got up grudgingly and spat out a bit of blood.
All 3 warriors were hurting badly now. Zarbon had lost an eye, Cold his horns, and 20 had taken severe damage to the abdominal area. They stared at each other for a bit, allowing themselves a moments rest. But Gero wasn't resting. Inside he was being ripped apart, he had witnessed so many horrible acts today, and he couldn't take it anymore.
Witnessing Krillen's death, and abandoning his friend Kirano. Finally to be stabbed in the back by someone he had trusted and thought was his friend. He couldn't take it anymore.
Android 20 fell to his knees, and both Zarbon and Cold stared. Cold looking on with satisfaction, thinking the doctor had given up, Zarbon in exasperation at what Gero was doing.
"Well, well, well. It seems the android has given up. I expected better from you Gero. You claim yourself to be the greatest creation of mankind, and here you are, kneeling on all fours like a little baby. I pity you Zarbon, for having sided with such a pathetic little creature such as this." Cold lashed out, grinning evily. "You aren't worth anything. You let your friend Krillen die, and you left Kirano for dead. Now, you won't even stand up and fight like a man. You disgust me."
But the changeling's insults fell on uncaring ears. As Zarbon began to approach Gero to help him up, 20 did something that shocked both of them. He let out a deafening roar, and his white aura exploded and increased in size. The whole area around them began quaking. Android 20 continued to scream, his aura flickering darker occasionally. Then, with one final scream, the android's aura turned completely black, and the ground beneath him cracked. The android stood up, his face, emotionless.
"You stupid bastard. You've just sealed your grave. The human no longer has any control of what he is doing. I am in control of him now." said the mechanoid, his voice hollow and metallic sounding. "And now, you are going to die."
20 disappeared, and reappeared above Cold, but then disappeared again. The android flicked in about the changeling randomly, causing his scouter to go on the fritz.
"What the hell are you doing? Hold still so I can punch your face in!" Cold demanded. He threw out a punch at the doctor, but it sailed through nothing but air. Then he felt something with the force of a freight train plow into the back of his neck. Cold was knocked forward, and fell flat on his face. He rolled over and looked up into the sky to see the emotionless android falling down above him, his elbow held out at a 90 degree angle. The changeling had no time to react. The android's elbow slammed into the purple and white warrior's abdomen, causing a stream of blood to spurt from Cold's mouth, and his bloodshot eyes bulged. But the android wasn't through yet. He continued an onslaught of punches and kicks and a number of other strange attacks on the downed alien. Then, as the android about to throw a punch into the changeling's face, his fist was stopped dead in its tracks, caught in the palm of the now standing changeling. The android threw another punch with his left arm, but that too was caught. The two fighters were in a stalemate. Each pushed as hard as they could to make the other let go, but to no avail. Then, Cold pulled his knee back, and shot it upwards into the groin of Gero. Falling like a stack of bricks, the android crumpled.
King Cold raised his foot, preparing to stomp on the downed android, but Zarbon had been waiting patiently. The one-eyed mutant grabbed the back of the changeling's neck and squeezed, pressing down hard on a pressure point. The blood drained from Cold's face, leaving it ghostly white. Zarbon lifted him off the ground, and began to punch him repeatedly in the back while squinting through one eye. Cold's armor began to crack, and finally, shattered, leaving his back exposed. Zarbon took the advantage and fired a one handed blast into the vulnerable changeling's back. He was blasted forward, out of Zarbon's grip.
Before he hit the ground, Cold stopped himself with his hands and righted himself. He looked down at himself, and saw a stream of blood falling behind him, where he had been hit with Zarbon's blast. Turning around to face the mutant, he unleashed his signature purple aura, and began a pitched battle with the half-blind teal alien.
Gero finally picked himself up and looked over to see Zarbon losing his battle badly. Considering Zarbon no longer had depth perception, he couldn't predict attacks anymore, and was taking them head on, as Cold mercilessly pounded him. 20 jumped to his feet and launched himself headfirst towards the changeling, headbutting him and sending Cold and himself reeling from the blow. Gero wasted no time. He quickly went airborne and let the black aura, signifying the android's control, erupt around him again.
"NOW COLD. TAKE THIS! MY LOVE, MY ANGER, AND ALL OF MY SORROW!" the android screamed.
He unleashed the full fury of the Renzouku Energy Dan on Cold, each attack slamming into the defensively postured changeling.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!! FOR KRILLEN!" 20 yelled and began hurling his blitz even faster and more furiously. The size of the explosion increased and the figure of Cold could be seen still trying to stand inside the display of pyrotechnics.
As Gero slowly calmed down, the black aura receeded, and was replaced by his white aura. Gero was now back in the driver's seat, and he fell to the ground limply.
"It's over, it's finally over..." Gero said aloud, smiling.
"You're right. It IS over." came the rasping voice of Cold, his breathing labored.
Zarbon and Gero both looked up at the changeling in horror. Bits and pieces of flesh were missing, but he was still standing tall. This fight would not last much longer, but both sides had a plan devised as how to decimate their opponent.
OOC: I sorta had this idea for how to end it. I'll PM both of you what my idea is.
