The energy varied between the two, deciding not the winner of the bout but more to the point... the survivor. Relentless was the pursuit of the child's energy as he pressure back the attack, trying desperately to keep with the demon's power as it seemed he had raised his strength by a fold or two. It seemed lost on the child's mind that he would end up like he had seen so many before, dead and forgotten in the heat of battle. But his mind quickly clicked over to land upon an option that may change the tide of the battle... Oosaru... his sight flipped over to Nappa who he had sensed before. Goten played a little rhyme over in his mind with a small innocent smirk on his lips. "A Saiyan as well, but lacking a tail." He had heard this from somewhere before, alas it was not the time to be remembering something like that though.
With a dead set mind he pressure more energy into the blast, narrowing his eyes as he let out a sudden yell. Raw power streaming from his finger tips back at Janemba's consistent wave, pressuring it back to give the youth just enough time to cascade himself down to the ground, the beam rushing over his head just bearing hitting. The child set himself down on the ground, the demon growling at how it seemed as a mocking gesture.
"Scared you, didn't I? Little boy." The crimson fighter smirked as he looked down upon Goten as little more then a mere annoyance... but that was soon forgotten as a small ball of energy lit up in the young Saiyan's hand, his tail unraveling from about his waist to wag impatiently behind him. "Hm, that won't be enough to stop me, boy." Janemba continued, unknown to the miniature warrior's intentions.
"I know, lemme get ready." Retorted the demi Saiya-jin as he reared his hand back far, almost as though he were pitching a baseball, to then throw it up high into the air. It dashed by Janemba while the demon gave an awkward look.
"Missed, punk." The demonic fighter chuckled as he turned his head back to the boy... but it wasn't a boy anymore...
Goten's mouth gapped as the pupils and iris of his eyes faded from sight, his knees buckling under him to force him to kneel down onto the ground. Hands pressed heavily upon the earth as his fingers dug into the dirt, his hair pulling back as his nose and mouth became one in a snout, piercing razor sharp teeth now filling his gums where there had once been normality.
"What... in the... hell?" Janemba floated speechless as the transformation continued, Goten's small body bulking up as muscles rippled under his expanding clothing. The collar he wore beeping a continuous green color as it was forcefully expanded wider and wider to accommodate the child's neck, Goten's clothing had the same effect as he now stood a towering monster. The demi Saiyan's tail wagged to and fro behind him with a huge up roar of wind. The ape rose up on its hind legs and tilted its huge head back to let out a piercing yell of primal power, beating its chest with massive fists twice before turning to the red demon with its own large crimson eyes... watching with teeth gleaming in a thick saliva which Janemba force a glare at.
"Come on the-!" But Janemba's words never reached Goten's ears, he was swatted out of the sky by a massive swing from the colossal monstrosity, touching down in the raw earth beneath him as another roar filled the air. The Oosaru Goten was on the approach, leap by leap... bound by bound to take out the fighter who he had been in a power battle not a second ago with...
