Android 20 stood, arms clenched and facing the saiyan warrior. Gero hadn't been hurt much, as in feeling pain, but if he kept hitting at his brain canister... that would be trouble. He didn't want to see the android taking control again, and him NEVER being able to regain it.
As he was busy worrying in his head, Nappa shot at him like a cannonball, aiming his shiny, bald, head at the android. Gero leaned backwards, and as soon as Nappa was directly above him, the android pulled his feet up, and slammed them into Nappa's abdomen. The saiyan was rocketed upwards, quite vulnerable to attack. The android disappeared and reappeared above the saiyan, and held out an elbow at a sharp angle. As Nappa approached, the android was about to bring it swinging into the humanoid's spine, but Nappa turned around, and fired a blast of energy at the doctor. 20 was caught in the left shoulder by the attack, sending him twirling like a top. Nappa followed in pursuit, and once again, attacked the diamond-plated shield. As soon as Nappa's hand hit the diamond, Gero, reached both hands backwards, and grabbed onto the saiyan's arm.
"Ergh, android LET GO! What the hell are you doing?" Nappa protested.
Then, a strange nauseating feeling coursed through the saiyan, as it felt like his very soul was being sucked out. Realizing what was happening, Nappa let his green energy barrier erupt, scalding the doctor, and sending the android flying forward.
Nappa opened his mouth, and began charging a greenish ball of energy within it. He roared loudly, and the beam tore from his mouth, and shot towards the perfectly still doctor. Nappa's mouth blast went straight through the doctor, but it wasn't the doctor. It was nothing more than an after-image of him. Realizing his folly too late, Nappa spun around to see the doctor, with his palm open, facing him.
"You are about as smart as a brick. Using such a powerful attack at a time like that... You saiyans are all alike." Gero admonished.
Nappa grumbled several curse words under his breath, and then flung himself at the android. Gero responded by lunging to the side, and firing an energy blast into Nappa's back. The armor that protected him chipped and splintered. Flying in behind him, Gero threw multiple punches into the almost shattered armor, but Nappa spun around, and slammed his forearm into 20's face. Before hurtling away, the mechanoid managed to hook his feet around Nappa's outstretched arm, and perform a backwards flip, sending Nappa to the ground. When the saiyan met the surface, the sharp igneous rocks slammed into him, cutting apart the back part of his armor, and sending multiple stones into the air.
Nappa came roaring back and caught the android by surprise. The bloodlust for battle had consumed Nappa, as he began pounding on the old doctor. Gero managed to begin blocking some of the attacks, and then the two engaged in a lightning quick fist battle. The android being much quicker, managed to nail the saiya-jin being multiple times, but Nappa being stronger, got one punch in, knocking Android 20 away.
The two fighters stared each other down. They were both beginning to show the tire of battle. Nappa's saiyan armor had cracked, and his brown bushy tail flipped around nervously. Android 20's diamond-plated dome that protected his human brain, had spider-like cracks running through it, sparks randomly flying off. The two warriors unleashed their respective auras, Nappa red and Gero white, and engaged in battle once more.
Clashes of red and white exploded about as the two fighters fought furiously. Punches met wrists and forearms, neither fighter scoring a blow. Then roared, and pulled his arm back, and flung it forward with enough force to break the doctor's bones in two. But to Nappa's horrible dismay, it passed through nothing but air as the android leaped over him. Then, he felt it.
"AAAAH!" Nappa let out a bloodcurdling scream. "AAAAAH! LET GO! AHAHAAA!"
Gero was tugging on Nappa's one true weakness, his tail.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Does that really hurt?" Gero spoke, with a voice full of sarcastic innocence.
He pulled at it again, and Nappa yelled out in pain. But Nappa could stand no more. He unleashed his blood red aura, and flew backwards, so as not to damage his tail, and to also slam back first into the unsuspecting android. The two collided, and Nappa kept on going. Closer and closer they came to the side of a solid rock cliff. Then, at the last second, Nappa stopped, and the momentum kept Gero going, and he was flung into the cliff face, the surface exploding on impact.
"Well, that takes care of that." Nappa muttered, as he softly touched his aching tail.
"I beg to differ." came a voice.
From out of the rubble, Android 20 arose once again, in a fighting stance, his white aura dancing about him wildly.
"This battle isn't over yet." 20 yelled at Nappa and shot at him with incredible speed
