Area B: Day Three

[Burter]

"You underestimate my determination for my friends!!" Paragus cried, uncontrollably blasting his aura to full power. In truth, the Saiyan immune system destroyed the poison extremely quickly. The dark warrior screamed in anger, causing his aura to flicker violently. The bottle that held his anger had broken.

Katel watched in surprise as Paragus shot down at full speed, his determination at its fullest. Light flickered from his aura, his anger exceeding its limits and now crashing down. The quiet old man had awoke, and he would not rest until his friends were safe.

Vines immediately shot from the ground to stop him, though the old saiyan had expected every last one, dodging them with flexible movements. Katel began to realize there was no hope to run, seeing his obvious determination. Vines shot out to act as a sheild, though he was much quicker then usual. His body slipped by before it formed, tackling the forest girl with enough force to break her apart. The two rolled for a moment before Paragus wound up on top, raising his fist to the already beaten woman.

"Release them." He ordered firmly.

Katel rested her head back, as if sighing. The vines were noticably retracting back into the ground, releasing his companions. "I had hoped you would attain supreme power, elder Paragus," she whispered to only him, "But you are not ready. I will surrender now, but we will meet again."

Paragus said nothing, only pushing off and letting her up. From the distance there were DA soldiers coming to pick Katel up. She just smiled before Paragus could say a word, and pushed off away from the crew, to be transported out of the competition.
