Android 20 landed on the ground a few feet away from the saiyan girl. Gero had to admit that she was more powerful than him in each and every aspect, except they seemed to be evenly matched for speed.
"These saiyans are amazing creatures. Such a passion for battle they have. What drives them so to fight incessantly?" Gero contemplated to himself. "Not only that, but she is better than me in almost everything."
But you are the greatest creation of mankind. We both are. You are meant to be far superior to all life forms. Just because she seems to be stronger than you doesn't mean this battle is over. His android half mused But if you don't kick it up a notch soon, I'm taking control.
"Hey, hey, hey. I can take care of myself thank you very much." Gero growled in response.
The saiyan girl started yawning, bored by the motionless android. 20's eyebrow twitched as he formulated a plan in his mind. Then, he raised a palm to the right, and a blue energy ball appeared in it. The saiyan was perplexed, unsure of what he was doing. Then, the mechanoid aimed down to the ground around them, and fired the shot into the surface, spraying dirt and dust into the air, making it difficult to see.
"That saiyan girl may be stronger, but I am more technologically advanced. Let's see how she manages herself in this one." Android 20 thought.
Silently, the android moved at high speeds toward the saiyan, who seemed quite unaware as to where he was. Sneaking up behind her, he raised both arms, ready to strike. Moments before he threw both arms down onto the unsuspecting neck of the girl, a twig snapped under his foot.
"GOT YOU!" the saiya-jin yelled, and swung her arm around, firmly planting it in the android's stomach.
Gero was blown backwards, back into the dust cloud that surrounded them. Selipa stood motionless in the center, straining her ears for any form of a non-ambient sound. Then, she saw a glow in front of her. But the ki ball didn't move. Instead, she felt something metallic and hard slam into the side of her face, knocking her down.
The sky was darkening quickly, as ominous thunderheads formed across the artificial atmosphere. There was a flash of lightning, and rain began to fall. A gust of wind gushed down from the heavens as the storm approached. The dust cloud was blown away, and the android was seen to be floating far above the saiyan.
The saiyan turned, and spotted the airborne mechanical monstrosity. The android raised a finger, waving it, and basically said "Bring it on."
The girl burst off the ground, launching herself straight up at the android, with much more speed than he expected. She slammed her head into his chin, sending Gero spiraling backwards. A roar went up from the crowd as the sound of the blow echoed across the battleground.
As he flipped around aimlessly, 20's eyes slowly began glowing a golden hue, unbeknownst to his opponent. The girl came in close and delivered a punch straight between the android's eyes. But instead of being knocked away in pain, Gero grinned. Two golden beams of energy shot out of his eyes, and slashed across the saiyan's armor, singeing the skin beneath.
Android 20 backed away in silence. Maybe that would suffice to make the android half of him shut up. Now he waited patiently as to how the saiyan girl would retaliate. Lightning flashed from above, throwing his aged face into sharp relief. The games were over. The real battle had just begun.
OOC: How much longer do we wanna make this last? I plan on switching to android next post, so at least one more each, but we can do more if you want to. Heck, I'd like to do more, but it's your call.
