**Starting in Area A and ending in Area C**
A cold chill swept throughout the bones of the fallen warrior at Reijin's feet. He expelled a soft cold laugh, his breath freezing in front of him as he turned. The sound of the snow crunching under his feet was drowned out by the howl of the wind. His eyes wandered upwards... The sky seemed to be growing darker, but he could not tell through the clouds of snow. His aura enveloped him as he burst upwards, flying high into the clouds. The air began to grow colder, with fierce winds tearing at him from the sides. He finally slowed his ascent and shook his head, unable to rise with the lower amount of oxygen. He wished he'd still had his Rebreather here.
He rolled backwards, and began to plummit straight down towards the ground, aura burning brightly. As soon as the icy lake came into view, his path changed, and he began to fly parallel to the earth below, fighting the unforgiving wind. He pulled the Scouter of his pocket and slipped it over his eye. He first activated a timer to find what time it was.
His eyes widened sharply. He only had a short amount of time to make it to a Bunker or the collar at his throat would destroy him, completely and mercilessly. He swallowed, and increased his speed as quickly as he could allow, flying at terminal velocity. He mapped out a path to the closest Bunker on the Scouter. It was a short distance away, in the warmer and more humid region to the south. He growled, and his hair began to life up around him, his aura taking a yellowish tint. He hated wasting his energy in this manner, but he had to make it there on time.
Like a yellow rocket, he blazed a path over the snow, watching it melt beneath him as he rushed over it. Soon he realized that the wind's howl was growing quieter, and that the snow was beginning to die down. He was unsure as to how Synex was able to contain such weather patterns as drastically as they changed, but he didn't care. In the distance, he began to notice the sight of what seemed to be a lush but dying jungle. The snow ceased to flurry around him and it began to melt around his feet. He extended his aura around him in an attempt to sense where others may be located in proximity to him, but at his speed, he was unable to properly gauge.
The swamp seemed to suddenly be upon him, as he felt the wind quickly change from cold to warm, howeve still soaking him to the bone with it's humidity. He quickly dodged around a tree as he entered the marshland, and flew, watching as the ground seemed to no longer hold frozen snow, but rather melted snow in the form of a muddy pool of liquid. His Scouter told him that he had only moments to make it, and he pushed it up another notch.
Tree...
Tree...
Vine...
He burst through them all, rushing as quickly as he could while trying to dodge through. He began to notice what seemed to be living plants nearby, but he rushed past them before they could even notice. His collar began to flash and pulse at his throat, and he swallowed tightly. He was too proud to die in this manner.
Then, finally, he saw it in the distance, embedded into what seemed to be a willow. He zipped into the hanging leaves of the willow, and felt the vines seem to tighten around his limbs. He snatched his hand away, struggling to rid himself of his entanglements, and finally landed at the step of the Bunker. He pushed the door open, and ran inside as quickly as possible.
He collapsed ungracefully at the bottom of the stairs, and looked around, his collar deactivating. He breathed a sigh of relief.
