I'm not sure if any of you have really had the chance to talk to me over AIM, or get to know me over any length of time, but there a few things you should know about one of yout admins: I catch just about everything, I rarely forget things (despite what I say... I just lie a lot to make my life easier ^_^ ) and I'm stubborn as hell. And I really mean I'm stubborn. I try not to be, but I don't live in denial.
So... I guess I'm supposed to post some words of welcome or somesuch here... I wasn't really paying that close attention. I guess I'll tell you all a story.
When I first joined this RPG (many, many moons ago) I was just a mere n00b: unskilled in the ways of the RPer and intimidated by those who could post more than 2000 characters at a time. I looked up to the staff members and respected them for their wisdom and skill, as did most other people. I noticed that many of the staff members were being lazy and unable to keep up with everything that needed doing. I offered my services and was eventually accepted into the fold. My task was a simple one: write up every spar that needed doing. I tackled the job vigor, doing my best to make each spar unique and interesting. I never questioned why I should have to write fights for people, for I was too bust enjoying the splendor that came with my job.
So... what's the moral of this story? What can you learn from it? If you win this illustrious staff position, prepare to be our little bitch.
