?Well??? smirked Burori, holding up a tightened fist of his blackened arm. Goku?s face twisted with disgust. ?What?s happened to you?? His eyes traced the contours of Burori?s body, scanning the Saiyan?s scarred appendages. Burori threw his head back and laughed, placing his hands on his hips. ?Can?t you see it? Can?t you feel it?? He waited a moment, expecting a response. As silence saturated the atmosphere, he took a step forward, only causing Goku to take a step back in defense. ?Broli is no more?? A fierce wind made its way across the frozen tundra on which the two fighters stood, screeching in such a way that it seemed the very air itself would shatter. ?? and the Black Demon has arisen.? The golden locks of the Saiya-Jin?s hair flowed freely, his eyes void of any color save white seeming to stare into the very depths of Goku?s soul.
?This isn?t a simple fight to you, I know that.? The words escaped Kakarot?s lips with an air of understanding connected with each and every breath. ?You know nothing!? A shimmering aura of pure luminosity flared around the Saiya-Jin, his charismatic attitude fading almost instantly. ?What I have transcended to? What I have become! And even more repulsing, it enjoyed the journey of such. It found pleasure in wreaking vile hatred against the innocents of the world, usurping their lives as its own. And now? Now Goku had stood before him, ready to give it all he had. Goku was willing to challenge the power of the Black Virus, to challenge the seemingly unstoppable sovereignty of a sickness that would take a host of its choosing and transform it into what had been now known as the Black Demon.
