Truthfully, Bardock had almost completely distanced himself from conscious reality when a familiar voice broke the spell of the snow.
"And what brings you fine gentlemen here?"
A pause ensued.
"...without trying to kill one another, I mean," the voice added.
The Saiyan raised his head and craned his neck, eyes opening against the encrusted ice gradually. Raditzu, in full golden glory, was leaning casually on Android 18's shoulder, as brash as ever and casting a dazzling glow across the bland tundra. Bardock sat unmoving. He and the android seemed to go together like an arm and a fist, one was never without the other. Eighteen whispered something, and before the older man knew it, she had sucker punched his son. The fighter raised an apathetic brow as she tackled Raditzu, her motives soon becoming clear. Bardock's eyes followed the two lovers as they rolled down a deep embankment of the frosty deposits and out of sight. His gaze soon returned to the white emptiness before him.
It was just him and the younger fighter now, waiting mindlessly out in the bitter cold.
Bardock seemed to have little reaction whatsoever. Then, after a few moments, he burst out laughing.
