Android 18 turned her head away as a cool breeze lightly hit their bodies. The wet snow now penetrated the warmth of her body and a chill slid against her back. She shook her head and moved her hands out of the warriors grip. She took a step away and wrapped her arms around herself. The frozen wind howled by once more. ?Actually I think I?m gonna go by myself, you should watch the other two?? She glanced over her shoulder at him with her cool eyes, and then turned away once more. Some things just couldn?t be explained. The last thing he heard was her feet crunching against the icy snow below.
She didn?t bother looking back, or stopping. She continued walking with her arms hugging her torso. She new where the bunker was, she?d been there already a few times. Right now she just wanted to escape to its safe warm offerings. She could not explain the sudden shift of mood, perhaps her circuits were malfunctioning. Or perhaps it was the strange feeling she had felt within her gut. She shook her head as she neared the welcoming building. She entered it without a second thought, the warm air enveloped her.
