The power ?Eightzu? was emitting was suffocating. Seventeen backed away from the bizarre warrior and struggled to understand what the hell had just happened. The android?s CPU supplied all the correct answers, but the Seventeen who was able to process rational thoughts died a long time ago. On any normal day, the android would have taken the time to ask the woman why he felt that he should know her. Was she the blonde from the dreams he suffered from? Speaking of those dreams, the machine-hybrid realized that it had been ages since he last dreamt. Android Seventeen thoughts went back to the robot from the hidden lab. It had been an eternity since the last time the android had last found on of the machine parts. Seventeen reached into his satchel and rubbed the small chips with his fingers.
A massive explosion rocked the android from his drowsiness. As of late, the android was finding it more difficult to maintain his train of thought. Every time he?d attempt to think, a dozen new ideas and thoughts would invade his mind, and Seventeen knew the exact cause?this stupid game. Friend or Foe II was taking its toll on the machine-hybrid psyche. A few yards away, the saiyan-android fusion was reveling in his ability to completely dominate the metal mutation. The creature was crumbling under the sheer force of Eightzu?s attacks. Every time the mutant would strike its opponent, Eightzu would just smack the fist or foot away and giggle. The android remembered the power of the last fused being. It was the same unnatural strength that slaughtered one his best friends with the littlest of effort. Seventeen turned to Piccolo, who was standing next to him watching the contest. After all, the saiyan-android being had told them it would take care of the metallic mutant.
?So we are supposed to just stand here and watch?? Seventeen asked the namekian. Piccolo smirked before he gave a reply.
?Don?t worry about it, Seventeen, that fighter is the combination two of the best fighters I know, Raditzu and Android Eighteen,? the android still could not fathom the need for the two warriors to combine their bodies. There was no possibly way that the mutant could have sapped enough power from the saiyan alone that it was stronger then the best fighters Piccolo knew, ?just wait for them to finish up that?thing,? the namekian said. However, the android still couldn?t understand the purpose at all. Eightzu?s power was leagues ahead of its foe, and with every successfully countered blow, the fusion would just say something that always seemed to include the word ?xtreme? or a simple ?tch.? If Raditzu and the female android had the ability to combine their power why didn?t they just do that to begin with? They could have just destroyed Brim back at the cabin and ended this madness.
?I?ve had enough,? the android muttered. Piccolo turned his head to give the android a baffled look, ?this entire thing is stupid?utterly moronic...and I?m gone?I?m going to end this game or die trying,? Seventeen?s power flared, and he exploded into the air, leaving a small crater in his wake. Shaking his head, the namekian realized that the machine-hybrid?s nature was still a complete mystery to him. The android landed on the roof of the hospital and became consumed in unbearable pain. Fresh blood was gushing from a new wound on the android?s left foreleg. Screams of anger burst free from the android?s throat, summoning his attacker from the shadows. The black figure just grabbed its stomach and mimed laughter. Whether the silent assassin was another avatar sent by higher powers, or one of Brim?s many plot twists, the machine-hybrid didn?t really care. Android Seventeen created another ki saber and pointed a synthetic finger at his foe. Madness was once again consuming the cybernetic warrior, and there was nothing he could do to stop it.
The shadowed assailant flipped backwards to avoid the green blade its android opponent was wildly swinging at it. An enrage android was by no means a challenge at all. The finesse and composure of the assassin made it superior to its target by leaps and bounds. A blast of ki escaped the cloaked figures palm as it flipped away from its seething opponent. The red energy blast caught the android completely off guard and threw Seventeen back towards the edge of the roof. Quickly standing up, the machine-hybrid felt the entire building start to shake beneath him. Apparently, Eightzu was enjoying playfully creating havoc, and the hospital was taking the bulk of the attacks intended for the still-alive machine mutant. Android Seventeen charged his attacker once more, but this time he managed to tackle the assassin to the cement roof. Raising his saber into the air, the cybernetic warrior brought it back down, piercing through his assailant?s mouth. The anonymous hired gun twitched violently, and then relaxed as it accepted death.
Seventeen let go off the saber, and it fizzled into nothingness. He glared down at the nameless foe and turned around to continue on his intended path. Death, it seemed, hated the android more then any living being. The assassin stirred as life and strength returned long enough for it to pull a small dagger from its boot. With a final motion, the figure plunged his blade straight through the android?s already injured calf muscle. The machine-hybrid spun around and delivered a final, magnificent blast of ki?incinerating the assassin. Then Android Seventeen immediately dropped to the roof, both hands going to shield his bleeding right leg. The machine-hybrid bit his lip and tore the small blade from his leg. The pain was immense, but it was nothing Seventeen hadn?t already had to endure.
The cybernetic warrior pulled his scouter out of his satchel and attached it to his ear. A series of lights clicked and danced on the small, sapphire screen, but the power signatures were faint, but Seventeen knew one of them had to be Friend or Foe?s ringmaster. Locking on to the highest power he could pick up in the distance, the android launched off the aged hospital?s roof with new fury. Even if the energy source he had picked up wasn?t Brim, at least Seventeen would encounter something new. Anything was a change from the endless wastelands and the dreary old hospital.
OOC: Yea...Seventeen is once again beginning to lose the ability to think rationally, and now he's chasing a random ki signature...
