Yajirobe leapt out of the way of a wayward ball of fire. The ground hissed as the fire burnt up the leaves on the ground and faded away into smoke. He took another look at the fight and readied himself to make another strike.
Kami on the other hand was a little busy. Tossing his robe aside, the old Namek stood infront of the flaming Akira. "I've been waiting for this." he growled. She tossed her hair back, flames dancing around her face.
"So have I old man." she giggled a little when she finished. The laugh quickly turned into a yell as she came full force at Kami. He ducked the initial punch, then blocked the folow up knee afterwards. He hadn't been doing much fighting up until recently, so he was a little rusty, but it was good to know his speed hadn't left him. The fire burned, but the pain from her fire was about as bad as a ki blast. It did not bother Kami much at all, and he knew if it got bad he could start coating his hand with a little energy to shield himself from the heat.
Yajirobe watched the two fighters go back and forth, with the way the fire leapt around Akira's body and the flashes of green energy from Kami it looked almost like some sort of a dancing light show. The beauty of the moment was quickly shattered as the human ducked another wayward fireball. He could smell the burnt hair on the top of his head. Moving quickly he made his way around to Akira's back and without so much as a word got a running start.
Kami could see the human behind her, and hoped that whatever he was planning did not get him into any trouble. Kami thought maybe a little trash talk would distract her long enough for the human to get in a good shot or two. "We're you faster before? I remember you being a little meaner to," he ducked a swift kick that splintered a nearby tree.
"That was supposed to be you." she said grimly. Kami socked her in the stomach and she came back with a jab in his shoulder.
"Yeah, well," Kami blocked a quick punch and took a kick to the back of the leg, "I was never one to enjoy breaking body parts."
Yajirobe jumped and aimed his fists at Akira. He was like a little torpedo, tearing through the air. He was about to collide with the woman, bracing himself for impact, and then he stopped. He opened his eyes to see Kami holding onto his fists, the fire woman out of view. "Nice try, keep looking for openings." The Namekian dropped the human and swatted away a fireball. He took off into the sky, rustling the leaves around him.
When Kami cleared the forest, through the burning hole in the canopy which had been left behind he encountered the sisters exchanging blows. "Normally I would have to pay to see this...and there would be a pool full of jello..." he laughed at his joke, knowing no one else heard him. Katel was seeming to hold her own, although it was apparent Akira held a slight advatage with her flaming aura.
Katel was working her way into a groove, tossing a few punches and connecting a could before going on the offensive. She spun around for a quick kick and felt a strong breeze blow past her. When she came around Akira was gone, and all she could see was the falling meteor that was the Namek and her sister.
The mid air tackle worked like a charm, and now they were crashing through braches and leaves on their way to the ground. Akira was taking the brunt of the descent, her back to the ground. Kami could see the ground coming up and relaxed his grip so that he too would not end up in the dirt. Akira saw her opening and managed to wheel Kami around so that he was the one crashing into the ground.
The dirt and debris kicked up into the air, but Yajirobe could still see the outline of the woman. He rushed in, kicking her feet out from under her. She caught herself with one arm, flipping up and over the shorter Yajirobe and then kicking him in the back. He rolled along the ground with her in hot pursuit.
Katel lashed out with a wiry vine which met it's target with great accuracy. Akira was caught around the neck, but it didn't hold for long as she yelled in anger, the flames around her body roaring back to life with a vengance. Yajirobe could feel the heat on his face, as could Kami. The Namek was rushing right at her again.
She felt ready for the emerald fighter to come crashing in, but when she expected him to strike, he was gone. She seemed confused until the uppercut came from one side. With a quick juke the Namek was back on top. The firey vixen was now a ping pong ball for her sister and the Namekian who took turns smacking her back and forth between them.
She managed to regain control of her body after severl trips up and down, and ram her two feet into her sister's chest, sending her down and skidding across the ground like a wayward surfboard. Kami came up quick and delivered a viscous clothesline that sent Akira burning through a tree. Katel got to her feet with a hand from Kami, and after waving Yajirobe over the three came charging hard at Akira.
Fending off most of the attacks, Akira was somehow holding her own against the three. She managed to knock Yajirobe back, but the human was determined to keep fighting and cam roaring back up. Kami was doing the most damage, but she couldn't mound much of an offensive while he was attacking. In a desperate attempt for some space she flared up, temporaily blinding her opponents long enough for her to blast Kami square in the chest.
He was sent into the ground, like a shuttle on re-entry. There was a smoldering pile of dirt, rocks and leaves. Kami stood in the middle, slightly charred but no worse for the wear. His own aura kicked up and he zoomed back to the fight. "I'm done playing Akira!" He came rushing inbetween Yajirobe and Katel, sending a veracious hook to the jaw of Akira. She took it like a champ, but even the best would go down too when hit that hard. Her head jerked back and with almost a slingshot like dely the rest of her body followed suit. Kami's auras flickered off as he hovered grimacing in the air. The other two were slightly shocked by the ferocity of the last attack. They didn't remain dumbfounded for long as they took off after Kami who was on his way after Akira.
Katel and Kami got to her first, and as far as anyone watching could tell there were just flashes of light in the sky when someone connected with a strike. The only sounds in their ears were the wind roaring past and their bodies clashing together. Yajirobe couragously soared on, trying to get back into the fight...
